WDC plays an important role in voicing opinion on important matters that affect the daily life of female students. It provides a platform where student can comfortably participate and share their views. WDC actively promotes gender equality by organizing various academic, technical, medical, cultural and social events for the empowerment of women and widens the zeal of gender equality/ sensitization in the society through young minds.

Objectives

• To educate female students to live a balanced life.
• To stress the importance of values and ethics in women’s life.
• To organize activities and events for woman students to showcase their hidden talents.
• To remove beliefs of gender bias and inequality.
• To sensitize the women students on social, legal rights to overcome gender based exploitation.
• To help the female students to take rightful decisions by building self-confidence and self-esteem.
