This milestone reflects our commitment to academic excellence, holistic student development, and the highest educational standards. Our Autonomous Status, granted in 2014, has been extended by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Bharathidasan University, enabling us to innovate our academic and examination processes and keeping them aligned with global standards.
At the Office of the Controller of Examinations, we take great pride in our organized, automated, and transparent examination system. Each phase, from question paper setting to final evaluation, is meticulously structured to maintain integrity and fairness. Our examination system is enhanced by internally developed software, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and efficient. Recognizing the importance of preparing students for emerging challenges, such as rapid digital transformation, information overload, and pandemics, we have incorporated online components in the internal assessments for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across major, allied, and elective courses. This exposure equips our students with the skills and confidence to excel in any online-based competitive examinations and virtual environments in the future. The question papers for our semester examinations are set and scrutinized by external experts, and the evaluation is carried out solely by external examiners to uphold impartiality and accuracy in grading.
