Legal Literacy Club was inaugurated in the year 2012 . The club strives to boost legal literacy and also strengthens the capacity of youth to effectively advocate for human rights and access to justice for vulnerable population.

Objectives

• To create awareness among students abouttheir constitutional rights, duties and legal obligations.
• To spread Legal Literacy among the young minds and to make them spread awareness in their neighbourhood and act as a bridge between the needy and service provider.
• To fight against social evils such as female foeticide, child marriage and dowry and to provide knowledge about various legal acts and rights such as protection of children against sexual offence act juvenile justice act, prevention of damage to the public property act, rights of disabled persons, right to education and information, ragging, road safety, common laws against domestic violence, protection of women rights etc.
