Herbal Research has been one of the prime concerns of our institution ever since the foundations of the college were laid. As an institution striving for recognition such as, Center of Excellence in Herbal Research, we have been carrying out research studies to develop herbal products and innovative methods of cultivating herbal plants so as to “Alleviate Poverty And Generate Employment Opportunities For Rural Community”. Our long-term vision is to establish a separate Ayurveda Research Centre along with the center for Life Sciences.

• Validation of commercially available herbal drugs and formulations.
• Development of Agrotechnics for Medicinal and Aromatic plants.
• Development of human resources by commencing job oriented course Post Graduate Diploma in Herbal Technology, and training programmes in Herbal Sciences.
• In-silico approaches in Herbal Drug development.
