Governance
Our College has the following hierarchy; The Secretary and Correspondent, The Principal, The Controller of Examinations, The Finance Committee, Academic Council, The Deans and The Faculty. The Secretary and Correspondent is the Head of the above statutory bodies. Like other colleges, the In-House Officers of the College are the Finance Officers and the Controller of Examinations. The Secretary and Correspondent (Governing Council) plans and approves policies, provides guidance and advises in the overall development of the institution and in strategic management aspects. The Secretary and Correspondent is the ultimate decision making body of the institution.
Organization of Faculty
The organization of faculty includes the Indian Language and Other Languages which constitute the Department of Tamil, Sanskrit and English. The Faculty of Commerce constitute the Department of Commerce and Bank Management. The Faculty of Arts & Humanities constitute the Department of Management & Social Work. The Faculty of Basic Science constitute Department of Botany,Maths, Physics, Chemistry.The Faculty of Life Science constitute Department of Microbiology,BioTechnology,BioChemistry ,Visual Communication, Library Information Sciences and Computer Science.

Welfare Schemes
Staff Welfare Schemes:

The children of the teaching staff who are studying in the College are granted waiver of
50% fees and the children of non-teaching staff who wish to pursue their studies are benefited
with free education.

The management has instituted Best Employee Award of Rs. 10,000 each, which are
awarded every year as a token of appreciation and encouragement.

In order to encourage the staff members, incentives were provided for their publications
in the reputed journals.

The employees were provided with Employment Provident Fund scheme for fulfilling
their requirements of their long term needs.

Our institution takes care of the financial security of the Faculty. The college provides an opportunity to the faculty to get benefitted from Group Insurance Scheme under University Norms.

The college provides financial support to the faculty to pay Health Insurance Premium under the scheme Management Free Advance.

The staff are given generous financial assistance (repayable) as and when required from
the Staff Welfare Fund for health-related and domestic emergencies. Under the Staff
Welfare Scheme, the staff members are granted Rs. 7500 p.a. by the management, from
the year 2017. Around 60 staff members (both teaching and non-teaching staff) benefited
from the scheme and so far Rs.3,00,000 had been disbursed to the staff members with 1%
interest (in repayment of written down value).
Students Welfare Scheme:

The college provides Free Bus facility to the Students who come a long distance from
around the college. The college bus covers a radius of about 50 kms.

In order to encourage the Girl students, the management is providing each and every girl
child a concession at the time of admission to various courses.

The college provides a range of concessions and merit scholarships for the financial
assistance of needy and deserving students. Concessions in fee are also offered to
deserving students who excel in Sports.

The RWA Book bank committee offers the students with Books of various streams for
needy and deserving students each year.

The college provides flexibility in payment schedule of fees for the needy students.

Our college is having a General Physician for the benefits of the students in case of any medical emergencies.

The students who are sportsperson and wish to pursue their studies are provided education under sports quota.

The Women Development Cell of our College is supporting the deserving and needy
students by paying their semester fees.

Anti-Ragging Cell: – The anti-ragging cell has been functioning in the college which
aims at preventing ragging in any form on the campus.

SC/ST Cell: – To develop awareness among the SC/ST students especially from the rural areas
about the various Government schemes available for their benefit.
