Objectives

TKalapradharshini is the vibrant cultural wing of Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College (A) dedicated to nurturing creativity, talent, and artistic expression among students. It serves as a dynamic platform where students can showcase their skills in music, dance, drama, literature, and fine arts, celebrating the rich heritage of Indian culture while embracing contemporary art forms.

To inspire and empower students to express themselves artistically, promoting cultural unity, confidence, and holistic development with the following mission

• To organize intra- and inter-collegiate cultural events.
• To encourage participation in university, state, and national-level competitions.
• To preserve and promote traditional and modern art forms.

BDUFEST

Bharathidasn University organises a three day National level Intercollegiate cultural meet “BDUFEST" every year. Students from colleges affiliated to Bharathidasan University compete in various cultural events such as Tamil and English Elocution, Quiz, Classical song, Group song, Mime, Variety, Short film, Instrumental (Percussion and Non Percussion), Photography, Group dance, Therukoothu, One act play, Fine arts and Skit. Our college students participate every year and bring laurels to college.

• Won the overall winner in BDUFEST-2017 and Dr.G.Sundaramoorthy of Department of Tamil won the best male coordinator award
• Won the overall Runner in BDUFEST-2018 and Dr.R.P.Rajeswari-Dean of Arts won the best female coordinator award.

KALAPRADHARSHINI

Kalapradharshini cultural wing organises the “KALAPRADHARSHINI - AN INTER DEPARTMENTAL CULTURAL COMPETITION" every year. Students from various departments actively participate in events such as Tamil and English Oratorical, Mime, Skit, Fine arts, Group dance, Instrumental Solo and Vocal Solo. The winners are awarded with prizes every year.

SHISHYAS

Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College organises Intercollegiate cultural fest “SHISHYAS- Entertainment Redefined” every year. Students from many colleges participate in various cultural events under Literacy,Theatricals,Fine arts,Music and Dance.The cultural events included Tamil and English Elocution, Fine Arts, Classical Song Solo,Folk Song Band,Photography,Short Film, Skit,Mime,Variety,Cine Song Band,Group Dance and Corporate Walk.
