“Wisdom begins with Inspiration”

About INSPIRE Internship Camp

"Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research" (INSPIRE) is an innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) for attraction of talent to Science. The basic objective of INSPIRE is to communicate to the youth of the country the excitements of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study of science at an early age and thus build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R & D base. Under the purview of DST INSPIRE program, Srimad Andavan Arts And Science College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli is organizing a science camp with an aim of attracting and motivating the young minds to study basic sciences and pursue their career with research. The camp provides an opportunity for the students to interact with eminent scientists and an academic fellows. The camp helps the students to relish the fascinating facts of sciences from the experiences of renowned scientists of India. This would instigate their passion towards the creative pursuit of science. With this view, the practical sessions have been designed to provide hands on training and demonstrations of sophisticated instruments.
